In the loneliness of the moon
I asked my soul
hoping to learn secrets
for which I had been searching for some time.

I asked about the people around me
to find out how they see me
and whether our souls some day
travelled here.

The soul is a prisoner of fate
a warm talisman in the body
and if for one moment it touches what is futile
I will emerge from the silence of time.

I asked about the beautiful
girls I met
if somewhere else they could be found
that I might see them again.

I asked about you as well
to find out where you live
and if in your sleep for a little
you would allow me to enter.
