Homo Universalis, Greek Heroines, Freedom Fighters
Original post from Homo Universalis includes portraits of these great women.
All of Europe remained speechless at her feats and imagined her to be something between an Amazon and the goddess Athena. Her end was inglorious and tragic: she was killed during a row with the family of her son’s sweetheart.
After her death, the Russians bestowed on her the title of “Admiral”, a title unique in the world for a woman.
